Vinod Sundaresan - Impelsys

Vinod Sundaresan is the Chief Delivery Officer at Impelsys and brings 28 years of leadership experience in IT and engineering R&D. He previously served as Delivery Transformation Head for a $600-million engineering R&D unit, where he oversaw delivery assurance, operational excellence, and delivery-led growth. Prior to that, he was the Vertical Delivery Head for the Industrial and Process Manufacturing business of a $400-million company, responsible for client engagement, operational efficiency, and financial success.

Vinod’s expertise spans development programs, transition and transformation initiatives, and managed services in application and infrastructure environments. He has worked extensively with Agile, SDLC, ITIL, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies. A strong advocate for AI and digital services, he has experience designing scalable “as-a-service” models and linking business KPIs with IT SLAs. His background also includes system engineering across electrical, automation, instrumentation, PLC, and MMI systems, along with a strong record in program management, cost management, customer relationships, and crowdsourcing.
