A leading provider of educational services was looking for a technology partner to enhance its legacy learning platform with the features and functionalities to provide its learners with an intuitive world-class experience. The client wanted easy accessibility of its learning material across devices, a future roadmap, and maintenance support.
Impelsys created a responsive, mobile-first, and ADA-compliant student portal, introducing new features and functionalities to replace legacy apps. The existing infrastructure for application deployment was upgraded, the number of servers was reduced, and workflow was simplified. Integrated applications were developed for key functions, such as an internal web app for targeted messaging, an eSignature web service for registration, and a diploma app for online application.
Impelsys undertook a full-scale application modernization of the client’s services and expanded its capabilities. The client benefited with the application modernization from being enabled to provide an enhanced user experience from enrolment to certification, a microservices architecture for the quick development of new features, a significant increase in operational efficiency, cost reduction, and seamless integration of the solution without impacting existing functions.
