The client wanted to leverage valuable information in its scholarly journals and improve reach, and enhance the user experience of its individual and organizational members.
Impelsys’s engineering team converted 17000 legacy DTD files to JATS/XML, and these files were further formatted to make them HTML compliant and compatible with the IPC Scholar Scholar Journals platform.
The client experienced a 10X improvement in readership, citations, and impact and a 5-fold increase in search efficiency of relevant articles. 0% replication of journals, and there was an overall 10X improvement in the accessibility of articles.
