Transforming a Work Safety Practice Course to Increase Learner Engagement
The client is the leading U.S. trade association for the oil and gas industry, uniting nearly 600 corporations and offering crucial training programs and certifications to its members. They wanted to update their existing work safety practice course to make it visually appealing, interactive and increase learner engagement. Despite being mandatory, the course was suffering from low user compliance due to a lack of interest.
Impelsys engaged with key stakeholders from the client’s side to understand their needs and challenges. The primary focus was to restructure and simplify the content while enhancing it with better visual elements to boost learner engagement. Real-world scenarios were integrated into the course to foster a deeper connection, helping learners understand and apply the concepts in their actual work.
The redesigned course was a great success. The visual elements and question-answer segments made the course more engaging and interactive, transforming a dull course into a meaningful learning experience.
